Self Realization

Hey There!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling super awesome i am writing after a long long time, however, things are same as before.
I hope you all are healthy and happy in life :) :)

Today let's talk about Self Realization..

We can see many people around us are suffering from depression, sadness, anxiety, stress, negativity, health issues and the list is never ending..!!

We see the conclusion of the process but tend to ignore the cause behind it.

Why a person is sad in life?
Why a person relies for happiness on other people in life?
What causes stress to human when they are expecting something and that never happens??
Why a person is always happy with the environment but not with himself/herself when alone??

The reason for all the questions is lack of Self Realization!!!!!

The fact of the matter is we all are capable of making ourselves and our life happy individually...
Many people complain that they are not happy because they do not have enough people to spend time with...

My simple question to all those people is, "were you sad in your childhood when you were surrounded by your family not with friends??"

Then what has changed now??
The only thing that has changed is your point of view toward life..
We all are blessed in many many ways and we do not realize that until some misery happens to us...
Why??

The depression, sadness, negativity is just a part of life, do not make it your life because we all are blessed with beautiful known and unknown qualities and we all must respect that.

The other day I met a lady who was physically disabled with a beautiful smile on her face. I sat with her and asked her what makes her smile and her reply left me speechless..

She said, "Though I am not able to walk and move the way you do I still am happy because I discovered what can be done when you are unable to move from your place".
and her this reply was a new point of view toward life for me..

life may not allow us to move at times from our places but it teaches us what can be done sitting at a place without being negative in life..

when we as a human make a mistake we can take two lesson..

1. What made you do that?

2. What not to do next time?

The people who believe in second option are considered optimist to me because they learnt lesson and now ready to utilize the experience next time..

its very important to learn lesson and utilize it at right place and at right time..

When you feel bad for yourself you feel you are not worth enough to keep yourself happy, go out and see people who are homeless ,who are orphan, who are sleeping on street without the fear what will happen next moment..you will get answers to all your questions..!

and that answer will come from your heart and will be termed as Self Realization where you will  come to know how capable and strong you are to accomplish anything in life..

Always remember one thing in life "Noone will respect you until you respect your ownself".
Just for a change spend  time with yourself and trust me friends you will enjoy it like never before:):)
on this note i will end this post by saying,

you all are blessed ..see the bright side and shine like a star and never dull your spirit by negativity because that will be most painful thing you will end up doing to yourself..

God Bless You all...Stay Positive Stay Alive...!

Let's Think Pink!

Pink is the color of being a girl in the Society. A woman's character is narrated by this color.

Lately I am deeply touched by this movie called pink. The issue that has been raised by the director shows the real situation of a girl who has been molested in real life.

But that is not the whole point of the conversation; the point is for how long we all are going to remember the experience we had while and after watching this movie.

May be it was just a movie for us but imagine yourself at the place of that girl who was threatened for taking stand for her dignity...?!

May be now you can relate with her beyond considering as a movie....maybe..maybe..!!

In our society a girl is a questionable character if she breaks the protocols made by the society. The protocols which teach her how to behave in public?

How to talk when she is with her male friends?

How she must be dressed up according to the current situation in the society?

How she must keep herself limited from expressing her thoughts because if she does so she may end up hurting the man's ego which is barely accepted in this Man’s world?

Why can't we take easy on her success in life and end up making breaking news on the same?!

Why when a girl achieves something is tagged saying "being a girl she did that...."

My question is why?!

We are growing  as a country but what about the growth of our Thoughts?

We all need to feel that a girl's dignity is as equal as a boy's dignity.

Every girl needs to be taken care by the society as if she belongs to their family.

Each and every girl is capable enough to take care of herself when she is in or out of her home and pursue her dreams whenever she wants in her life..

Why can't we put an end to this discrimination of being a girl or a boy and bring gender Neutrality in our society where a person is human being first then a girl or a boy.

By doing this we may change our thoughts we are grown up with.

The only thing that requires to take it seriously is by respecting the girl/woman from our family.

She is a human being first and then she is a girl and as per the basic needs of a human being in society she deserve to be treated as equal as boys and should be offered the same opportunity.

I genuinely thank Mr. Shoojit Sircar Sir and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan Sir for taking this issue on the next level and making people think about it seriously.
Let us think about it seriously. Let us think pink!

Why we are here is a mystery
Why we are finding ourselves is a mystery
Why a child always makes a mistake first is a mystery
Why can't we learn without making mistake is a mystery
Why the poor is becoming more poor is a mystery
Why the rich society is poor hearted is a mystery
Why a rover owner drinks at night alone is a mystery
how poor family can sleep peacefully is a mystery
Why the girls in society are still underrated is a mystery
Why they are not given the place they deserve in the society is a mystery
Why there is  failure before success is a mystery
Why there is ignorance until we lose is a mystery

Why We don't value our parents unless
we go away from them is a  mystery

Your Life is a mystery and will remain one, unless you solve it  yourself not considering it as one...!

Catch 'em All #PokemonGo

Pokémon Go Has taken the world by storm, it's the viral game everyone's talking about & playing. Developed by Niantic, Inc., it's a location based augmented reality game.

The concept of the game was formulated in 2014 by Saturo Iwata, the 4th  president and CEO of Nintendo and Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president and CEO of the Pokémon Company and producer of Pokémon. Ishihara was a fan of Niantic, Inc.’s precious trans – reality game Ingress. The Pokémon Company and Nintendo partnered with Niantic, Inc. which developed and published Pokémon Go on July 6th, 2016.

Niantic has used the crowd sourced data from Ingress to populate Pokestops and gyms within Pokémon Go. Pokestops provide items such as pokeballs and eggs to players. Gyms serve as battlefield for Pokémons . You have to follow a satellite generated map on your phone which directs you to locations where you catch creatures called Pokémons.

Once you are in the vicinity of a Pokémon , you open your phone’s camera, the Pokémon’s image appears superimposed on your real life surroundings, giving you a feeling that the Pokémon is actually there in front of you. You have to catch the Pokémon by flicking  a pokeball from the bottom of your screen.

It’s not uncommon to spot players of this game around you with their mobile devices in front of them searching for Pokémons. Since its launch in July, it has become a global phenomenon and shows no signs of slowing.

Here are some interesting stats highlighting the game’s immense popularity:

  • Since its launch , it became the top grossing app in the U.S. within 12 hours.
  • Nintendo’s market value went up by $9 billion within 5 days.
  •   One in ten Americans play Pokémon Go daily.
  • The game is collecting as much as $6 million a day from in-app purchases in U.S. alone.
  • It took Pokémon Go just 19 days to cross 50 million worldwide downloads.
  •  It attracts 21 million users and 4-5 million downloads a day.
  •  The average daily use of the app on Android devices has exceeded Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and facebook.

Believe it or not! There are some health and mental benefits of playing Pokémon Go:

In order to catch Pokémons , you need to get out of your house and walk. You need to walk to track a nearby Pokémon or to hatch eggs as well. The first eggs require you to walk 2 km or 5 km for the incubation to complete. Driving you vehicle won’t hatch the eggs unless you drive very, very, very slowly. So, this game is acting as a catalyst to get people out and moving. As you move out, you also get to breathe fresh air, which also improves your mood and health.

When people are talking about how technology is moving them away from one another and making them feel less connected socially, this game is in fact bringing people together, providing opportunities for healthy social interaction and a sense of belonging. You go out to a park to catch a Pokémon, you are bound to meet other people out there to do the same. This game is something people of all ages can enjoy. Even parents go out with their children to catch Pokémons and spend some quality time together outside rather than sitting on the couch and watching television.

  • You get to explore your city

While moving around catching Pokémons or visiting Pokestops , you may come across some historical or artistic landmarks which you may have never seen before. In fact, the game has considered the historical, artistic and architectural value of places before selecting them as Pokestops or gyms. Businesses have also benefited from nearby presence of pokestops. Many National parks and museums in U.S. have witnessed an increase influx on visitors.

Despite its popularity and benefits there have some controversies and accidents involving Pokémon Go and people playing it while driving.

Recently, authorities in Iran have banned Pokémon Go because of unspecified security reasons. Indonesia has banned Police officers and Military from playing the game. Recently, two men in California fell up to 108 ft. off cliff while playing the game. India has also recorded its first accident in Mumbai where a car was hit by an incoming auto rickshaw.

Even Mumbai Police Department has tweeted highlighting the risks of playing this game carelessly.

Excess of anything is bad, and this game is no exception. And there is no doubting the opinion that people shouldn’t play this game while driving and they shouldn’t trespass into restricted areas. As long as people play this game keeping their safety above all and taking appropriate precautionary measures while moving on roads, there’s nothing wrong in this game. So catch ‘em all.

Stay hungry. Stay foolish

“Stay hungry. Stay foolish”, these were the concluding words of Steve Jobs’ commencement address at Stanford University in 2005. Actually he quoted this from the back cover of a magazine called Whole Earth Catalog which used to be published in the US in mid 1970 s.

Since then this quote has become immensely popular and almost synonymous with Steve Jobs. You might have read it in a self-help book or seen it on a T-shirt or a computer, mobile wallpaper, some of you might have even watched his speech on YouTube. This quote contains enough wisdom to help you to achieve what you’ve dreamed of.

Paradoxically, this has become so popular that we seem to overlook its’ meaning and significance, we feel good just reading it and but we don’t use it.
So, let’s dig a little deeper into its meaning.

Stay Hungry.

We are human beings and we feel hungry. It’s normal, isn’t it….?.You wake up, feel hungry, you have your breakfast. Again, in afternoon you have lunch, and then evening snacks ending the day with dinner. This repeats almost every day, day after day. Our body needs a regular supply of food and water to survive.

The same analogy applies to our life, or some may say to our mind and soul. You need to have ambitions and dreams and the desire to fulfill those. More importantly, after achieving something, never become complacent. Don’t rest on your laurels. Keep moving forward, challenge yourself with new things because that’s the only path to satisfaction.

But keep in mind, that doesn’t amount to becoming greedy and self-obsessed. Staying hungry is all about enjoying what you’ve achieved so far while furthering your achievements.

Stay Foolish.

There is nothing wrong in being foolish, in fact, we all are born foolish. We as children learn by asking seemingly foolish questions. We as children asked a lot of questions and were never afraid of making mistakes. As we grow up, we start becoming too self-conscious, we stop taking risks and accept whatever is in front of us.
Staying foolish is all about being a child, making mistakes and learning from them, taking risks and following your intuition.

So, stay hungry. Stay foolish.

Gray

Gray....!

When we hear this word what comes into our mind...??

Some say it's just a color...Some say it's a color with the combination of two colors in color palette that is the combination of Black and White.

This assumption about Gray in people is somewhat correct, however, if you ask me about my views on Gray then surely my friends Gray is much more than a COLOR for me...!

I strongly believe that each of us is Gray as a personality. No one is perfect. Gray is a combination of two highly strong colors in color palette starting with White and ending on black.

Globally, white is symbol of peace and brightness in life whereas Black symbolizes the negativity.

Like that no one is completely good or completely bad. We all have partial good things at the same time known or unknown bad things in our personalities.

One must try to enhance the bright side of one's personality and try to accept the darker side of the same.

We as a human being are not perfect at all. We all have strengths and weaknesses and just because the person is more on its darker side does not mean that person does not have a brighter side at all.

It's all about time and situation one has to go through to improve his/her bright side over the darker side.

A person with all the good things cannot be considered as a complete human being from my perspective. We make mistakes to learn something from them. Now, it's a fun part whether to enhance the bright side or darken the dark side.

It's all about how do we perceive bad things in life and react to them.
So, in my consideration Gray is more than a color. It's a symbol of being human, a symbol of society. No society is perfect. We all need to work hard to make it a better place to live into by knowing its strength and weaknesses.

It's just a matter of adapting white or black as per the choices you make in life.

Not to forget we all are Gray.

Speaking Essentials

“All speaking is public speaking whether it is to one person or a thousand”
                                                -Roger Love

An integral part of communication is public speaking. Effective public speaking basically means articulating your thoughts to people or an individual so that your target audience gets a good grasp you what you said. The higher you move up the corporate ladder, the more you will need this skill. It’s an art, and the sole way of mastering any art is practice. Unlike written communication such as emails, essays and articles, where what matters is just the words and content, effective public speaking requires you to focus equally on language, precision, humor, engagement, assertiveness, tone, body language, etc. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in the joint meeting of the U.S. Congress exemplifies the above mentioned things. Some of the oratory skills that can be learnt from his speech are-

1 - Connect and engage with the audience.

People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care
Anonymous

PM Modi embarked on his speech by describing his visit to the Arlington National Cemetery. He applauded the great sacrifices of men & women in the service of mankind. Highlighting similarities and common connections between you and your audience is a great way to keep your audience engaged. During the course of his speech he emphasized this parallelism many times, some of instances are:
  •  He said,” Our nations may have been shaped by differing histories, cultures, and faiths. Yet, our belief in democracy for our nations and liberty for our countrymen is common. The idea that all citizens are created equal is a central pillar of the American constitution. Our founding fathers too shared the same belief and sought individual liberty for every citizen of India.”
  • He also described instances where the thinkers of the two nations impacted one another, such as how Thoreau’s idea of civil disobedience influenced India’s political thoughts, how Gandhi’s non-violence inspired the heroism of Martin Luther King, the impact of U.S. Constitution on the Indian Constitution and how American Universities are nurturing institutes of technology and management in India.

2 – Express your gratitude towards the audience.

“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others”
                                      Marcus Tulleius Cicero

You are expected to be grateful to your audience, just for the fact that they took some of their precious time out from their schedule to listen to you. PM Modi thanked the U.S. Congress for passing the India-U.S. Civil Nuclear Cooperation Agreement, for standing by India in times of sorrow and for the solidarity shown by the U.S. Congress during terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

3 – Humor

Humor is a rubber sword- it allows you to make a point without drawing blood”
                                                         Mary Hirsch

Humor in your speech relaxes the audience and helps the audience to better remember your point. PM Modi effectively used humor when he said, I am informed that the working of the U.S. Congress is harmonious. I am also told that you are well-known for your bipartisanship. Well, you are not alone. Time and again, I have also witnessed a similar spirit in the Indian Parliament, especially in our Upper House. So, as you can see, we have many shared practices.”

He also made a reference to Siri (An intelligent voice assistant part of Apple Inc’s iOS), when he said,” Siri tells us that India’s ancient heritage of Yoga has over 30 million practitioners in the U.S. It is estimated that more Americans bend for yoga than to throw a curve ball”. Further, he sarcastically said India has not yet claimed Intellectual Property Right (IPR) on yoga, taking a dig at America’s obsession with IPRs.

4- Explain how the audience will benefit from their ideas.

If your thoughts and ideas only cater to your purpose without accruing any benefit for the audience, nobody is going to pay heed to such ideas. So it is very important to create a win-win situation. PM Modi did this when he said that India could an ideal partner for U.S. businesses searching for new areas of economic growth, market for goods and skilled resources, thus, accentuating the fact that both nations stand to gain in great measure. He also said how India and U.S. could combine their strengths in science, technology and innovation to combat illiteracy, poverty, hunger and diseases.

Thus by incorporating the above elements in your public speaking, you can also drastically change how enthusiastically other people listen to you and get your ideas conveyed in an effective manner.

Logic Kills Creativity at Times

Creativity basically means using our imagination and inventiveness to create something which is of use and fulfils a purpose. Just being imaginative is not enough, acting on the ideas that crossed your mind to create something of value is what creativity is. Being creative is all about venturing into uncharted territories, delving into the unknown, finding hidden patterns and deriving relations between seemingly unrelated things. We do not have any predefined set of steps that can be followed to inculcate creativity. It cannot even be measured. But, believe it or not lack of creativity can act as an impediment in your way to success, the reason being it drives something called as innovation which has now become the backbone of any organisation’s success. If you are creative, you can formulate solutions to any conundrum that you may encounter in your life, be it professional or personal. This also highlights a fact of paramount importance, creative ideas do not pop into your mind out of the blue, they are not abrupt inspirations, in fact, such ideas are consequences of your attempts in trying to solve a problem or achieving a specific goal. All the creative minds from Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison to Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and Sir Jonathan Eve, they all have followed the same approach, which has been formalized as Creative Problem Solving (CPS), which involves breaking down a problem, generating various ideas to solve the problem and evaluating these ideas to find the most efficient and effective solution.

Creativity is akin to any other skill, so undoubtedly, there are some factors or habits that can thwart your creativity from flourishing. And the principal among these, paradoxically or ironically is logic or rationality. Jonathan Eve, the Chief Design Officer of Apple Inc. has said,” What I love about the creative process and this may sound naïve, but it is this idea that one day there is no idea, no solution but the next day there is an idea. I find that incredibly exciting and conceptually actually remarkable.” Creativity is all about the unknown and untold. You do not have a fixed solution for the problem at hand. Logic does the exact opposite. Rationality or logic or reason is always applied using the knowledge acquired over time. On the other hand, creativity flows from your experiences. A different interpretation of your experience can give a whole new perspective to your idea. Logic depends on availability of information; creativity can flow without any prior knowledge. Thus, an environment which lays extra emphasis on reason and logic is not at all conducive to creativity.

This becomes evident, when Jonathan Eve said, “To design something really new and innovative you have to reject reason.” Logic stifles your creativity because you cannot apply new thinking. Human brain generates creative ideas by processing even illogical data such as emotions and dreams. In such a situation using logic won’t make you feel creatively stimulated. And in your quest of boosting your reason, you tend to acquire too much expert knowledge and become burdened with unnecessary data. If you know everything there is to know about your field or profession, you cannot think out of the box and you become limited to just one dimension of your field. The takeaway here is that creativity can be cultivated into an everyday habit and a sort of an attitude toward life provided you break out of your barrier of logic and reason and respond to opportunities and problems in new ways. You become creative as you grow up, imbibing new concepts, experiencing new things. The important thing here is you have to keep your mind open and keep perceiving things around you through different perspectives.

An Unprecedented Realization

Mom and Dad are undoubtedly the two most beautiful people in everyone’s life, without them our life is unimaginable. They work all their lives just to make our lives comfortable, they sacrifice their well-being just to make sure we are happy, they are always willing to make even the most unreasonable of our wishes come true. The sacrifices that they make, the hardships they endure, and sometimes the pain they have to go through are all for our fulfillment.

Recently, an incident happened with me and it left an indelible impression on my mind and made me realize how parents are always willing to go out of their comfort zone for their children. This incident happened at one of the Domino’s Pizza outlets. While I was standing outside, a middle aged simple looking man came and he asked in Marathi “what kind of pizza should he buy ?”  I realized he was coming to Domino’s for the very first time. I asked him “who was going to eat it?” He replied, his children asked him to bring pizza for them, and, there was this man visiting Domino’s for the first time, having no idea of what pizzas they offered, their prices, and stores’ complicated terminologies. Yet he didn’t hesitate a bit in asking me to suggest a pizza. He just said the pizza should be a little spicy. I said, “I will come inside to help you out in placing order”. And when I entered I saw his wife sitting there inside the outlet, that made me realize, that to buy just a pizza they both came which showed how much they cared for their children and how they came out of their comfort zone to cater to their children’s wish. For you or your parents, buying a pizza, going to Domino’s or Pizza Hut is nothing new, it’s just a cake walk.

But just imagine the courage they had to muster to come to Domino’s, a place which they had never visited before to buy a pizza which they themselves had never eaten in their lives. I took a menu card and explained the ingredients the various pizzas contained in Marathi and eventually the order got placed. When it came to paying the bill, that man called me “Tai” which in Marathi means Sister and handed me a 500 Rupee note to pay for the bill. That gesture really touched my heart, and expressed his gratitude for what I had done for him in the best way possible.

The incident described above can be considered as the epitome of the unconditional love parents have for us. We owe our parents a lot and we in no way can ever repay for what that have done for us, no matter how successful we become or how much money we earn. But, what we can do is give them the same affection and love which was bestowed upon us by them. They just want your attention and love, and, going out of your comfort zone metaphor described above is not just limited to this incident or not just limited to parents. In every walk of your life, whatever career you pursue, you need to get out of your comfort zone, need to break the barriers that hamper you and pursue your dreams and goals. Don’t follow the herd, make your own path, because when you tread on your own path, one door starts opening after another to lead you to your destination. And while moving towards your destination, don’t forget to enjoy the journey. And, the next time someone asks you, “Have you ever experienced the presence of God ?”,don’t say nobody has experienced it, because in the form of parents we experience it every-day.
